Things To Do in Nottinghamshire.

Before he married my mum, my dad worked in London and I remember him saying that he would walk by the Tower of London every day on his way to work, but he never visited it until he moved to Nottinghamshire. We very rarely do the amazing things that are on our doorstep. I thought I'd put together a list of things to do in Nottinghamshire.

  • Discover a labyrinth of man-made caves beneath the streets of Nottingham, used historically for various purposes, including as homes and air-raid shelters.

  • Visit the picturesque ruins of Newark Castle and enjoy the gardens, learn about its history, and take a tour along the River Trent.

  • Marvel at this stunning cathedral with its impressive Norman architecture, beautiful stained glass, and rich history.
