Every time either me or my sister Lucy did something really well, my gran would say, "good owd duck", it was her highest form of praise.
She had a million sayings did my gran, some of which made no sense, or we had no idea where they came from. If you were naughty, she'd call you a "slopper".
Well last week, I was definitely a "slopper" The video explains why.
As I made my away around Lucy's house I was killing myself with laughing, I couldn't decide whether she'd rumble what I'd done immediately or if it would take a while.
Unable to keep it to myself, I told my friends Alison and Steph what I'd done.
When she got home, I waited with baited breath and.......
NOTHING!
Every time Lucy opened a draw, I waited.
STILL NOTHING!
When she went up to her bedroom to her pyjamas on, I thought she'd definitely notice.
STILL NOTHING!
When she went to the loo, I waited for the scream of "what on earth is this?'
BUT STILL NOTHING!
All evening Alison and Steph were messaging to see if anything had happened. it hadn't!!!
24 hours later, I got this message.

I sent Lucy the video in this blog and she immediately FaceTimed me calling me a few rude words, but laughing. She was walking around the house trying to find the ducks, so far she's found a handful and is worrying that I've hidden all 120.... I haven't, but I genuinely don't know how many I've hidden. What I do know is that some will take her ages to find!

So, whilst I know my gran would have called me a slopper, I can't help but feel I'm a good owd duck!
